Chemical Injection Packages and Gas Odorizers
In various industries, chemical injection packages are using to add chemicals for purposes such as anti-fouling and anti-corrosion, injecting coagulants and coagulants, odorizing, and others.
An Odorant, the distinctive sour scent associated with natural gas is added to natural gas, so that consumers can smell even small quantities of gas. There are two general types of odorizers.
- Bypass type, for low volume gas up to 10,000 SCMH.
- Injection type that injects Mercaptan by measuring the gas flow and sending a signal proportional to the volume of gas passing to the injection pumps.
